Maximum Care, Inc. is hiring Direct Care Workers (DCWs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Care Worker/Home Health Aide, you'll provide personalized assistance based on each client's individual needs and care plan. Your responsibilities may include:

Personal Care & Daily Living

  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

  • Assist with eating and meal preparation

  • Provide assistance with walking, positioning, and mobility

  • Assist with transfers when required

  • Encourage clients to safely participate in daily activities and maintain as much independence as possible

Help Around the Home

  • Prepare meals based on the client's needs and dietary guidelines

  • Perform light housekeeping

  • Wash dishes and maintain a clean living environment

  • Assist with laundry and changing bed linens

  • Grocery shop and run essential errands

Health & Wellness Support

  • Provide medication reminders as permitted by the client's care plan and applicable requirements

  • Observe the client's condition and report changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor

  • Assist with basic health-related tasks when permitted, appropriately trained, and included in the client's plan of care

  • Follow all safety, infection-control, and care procedures

Transportation & Appointments

  • Accompany clients to medical appointments when needed

  • Assist with grocery shopping and errands

  • Provide transportation when required by the assignment and permitted by company policy

Companionship

Sometimes the most important thing you provide is simply being there.​

What We're Looking For

Great caregivers come from many different backgrounds. What matters most to us is that you are compassionate, dependable, patient, and committed to treating every client with dignity and respect.

Basic Requirements:

​

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must successfully complete required criminal background checks

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or meet the physical requirements of the assigned client

  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, stand, and perform other physical activities required for client care

  • Ability to follow an individualized care plan and company policies

  • Dependable, respectful, and able to communicate effectively

  • Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment

Previous home care or caregiving experience is welcomed, but candidates from a variety of caregiving and support backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
